Reviewing the Fixtures & Supply Connections
The affected fixtures, water outlets, and existing connections are reviewed before reconnection. Suitable replacement connectors are selected, and the surrounding cabinetry and finishes are protected.

The affected fixtures, water outlets, and existing connections are reviewed before reconnection. Suitable replacement connectors are selected, and the surrounding cabinetry and finishes are protected.
Fixture connection points are supported so the piping remains steady when shutoffs and connectors are fitted. Capped outlets protect unfinished connections while testing and inspection are coordinated.
The replacement water lines are prepared for the required pressure test. The illustrated arrangement uses a capped branch, a gauge, and an isolation valve while the piping remains exposed.
Accessible joints and connections are examined as part of the water-piping test and leakage review. Any issues are corrected and the affected work is retested before closure.
Suitable shutoffs are installed at the prepared fixture outlets. The valves remain accessible inside the cabinet, and unused outlets stay capped until the supply connectors are fitted.
Hot and cold faucet supplies reconnect through independent shutoffs and compatible connectors. The lines follow smooth curves, with enough room to avoid strain or pinching inside the cabinet.
A suitable toilet supply connector joins the accessible wall shutoff to the tank’s fill-valve inlet. The connection is aligned and secured without pulling against the valve or tank fitting.
After the required test and reconnection work, the affected supply is returned to service in a controlled manner. Newly connected valves and supplies are observed as water reaches the fixtures.
Reconnected fixtures are operated to review water delivery, controls, and visible leakage. Faucets, toilet fill operation, and other affected fixtures receive checks appropriate to their installation.
The homeowner is shown the affected shutoffs and receives relevant care and completion information. Required final inspection, documentation, and any remaining finish coordination close out the work.
