Water supplies are isolated and the old fixtures are disconnected with nearby finishes protected. Removed items are supported safely, and unused water and drain openings are closed while the work area is prepared.
Separate hot and cold lines are positioned for the revised vanity layout and secured to blocking. Accessible rough-in connections are coordinated with the future cabinet and finished wall surfaces.
The fixture drain inlet connects to a vertical drain-and-vent arrangement. The drain continues downward while the vent rises through the wall, keeping the vent route visible during the rough stage.
The shower valve is anchored to blocking and connected to separate hot and cold supplies. A supported riser leads to the future showerhead outlet, with unused valve outlets closed as required by the selected product.
Before tile and finish completion, the shower receptor waterproofing is checked with the appropriate test closure and contained water. Seams, corners, the curb, and the drain connection are coordinated as one waterproofing system.
The new basin and faucet connect to the prepared water and drain outlets. Separate supply connectors and a serviceable P-trap are arranged within the cabinet, with access to the shutoffs and drain joints.
The tub is positioned for its prepared drain connection and the filler is secured to its mounting assembly. The fixed spout remains above the tub rim while the concealed connections follow the selected fixture design.
The toilet bowl is aligned with the secured flange and approved seal before being lowered into place. The flange position is coordinated with the finished floor, followed by fastening and the final water connection.
The installed fixtures are checked for normal operation, drainage, and leakage at accessible joints. Temperature-control checks, remaining adjustments, and required inspection steps are coordinated before project handover.
